We have a great opportunity for an IT Specialist in Lawrenceburg, TN

 

As an IT Specialist/Support Technician you will be responsible for installs, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repair PC's, RF Guns, Software and related devices. The candidate must be professional, analytical, supportive, and a team player with a solid understanding of PC hardware, software, and networking.

 

Compensation starting at 40,000k

 

Requirements:

  • 1 or more years' experience in technical support roles
  • Understanding of networking technology to support WAN/LAN/WLAN environments and knowledge of cable, Fiber, T1 and wireless internet connectivity
  • Ability to configure and administer Windows based workstations (Win 10 thru Win 11)
  • Advanced computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft products and ability to grasp new systems quickly

Qualifications and Skills

  • Troubleshooting skills and diagnostic skills used in diagnosing network, operating system software and hardware related issues
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines and handle responsibilities in a professional manner
  • People oriented, able to provide clear, professional communication
  • Required to walk, stand, sit, push, pull, reach overhead, climb and bend to the floor. Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Must be able to work after hours and periodic holidays as needed.
  • Employees must have ability to work on his/her own with no direct, constant supervision. Must be comfortable performing the essential job functions and feel comfortable being held accountable for their completion. The employee must be self-motivating and willing to take control.
  • There will be travel to the stores for new openings, remodel setups and some support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Installation and maintenance of personal computers, loading software, printer maintenance, imaging PCs, and providing local and remote end-user support
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems for all end-user equipment to include but not limited to laptops, desktops, desk phones, printers, scanner devices and RF Guns
  • Respond quickly to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support providing impeccable customer service *Assist in maintaining and adjusting LAN wiring and patch panels
  • Provide routine monitoring, testing, and analysis of all related IT system elements
  • Prepare training room/conference for meetings,
  • Set up new users, groups and rights using Office 365, NetSuite and Oracle WMS
  • Coordinate with other staff to provide support and or completing projects efficiently
