Responsibilities

We are seeking a mission-focused CSSP Manager to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in Las Vegas, Nevada!

 

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) program to ensure full compliance with the Department of Defense (DoD) CSSP requirements.

Oversee the organization’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities.

Provide strategic vision and oversee daily operations for CSSP Analysts and CNDSP Technical Writer.

Ensure team, systems, and networks are compliant with strong security posture and support assessments and inspections.

Policy and procedure development.

Provide recommendations for innovation and service enhancement.

Coordinate with other organizational leadership to ensure that operations are maintained, and projects are completed on time and within budget.

Staff training and development.

Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Monitor information systems for compliance.

 

Qualifications

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

Active TS or Q equivalent US Government security clearance.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.  Master's Degree preferred.

Must have a minimum of 6 years experience managing IT security teams with an emphasis on security operations and incident response.

Must be able to maintain the appropriate NICE framework certification level by obtaining/holding at least one certification within 6 months of hire (e.g. Sec+, SSCP, CASP+, CISSP, CISM)

Will include approximately 10%  local and nationwide travel.

Must be a positive, flexible, self-starter and able to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Must possess communication skills with the ability to verbalize and provide documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requires interaction with security personnel at customer sites, various levels of management and outside agencies.

Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task effectively.

Hands-on experience mentoring and training analysts and other members of a Computer Network Defense (CND) team.

Comprehensive knowledge of the evolving threat environment and strategies for securing a heterogeneous enterprise network.

Strong knowledge of and experience with current technologies and tools.

Expert written and verbal communications skills.

Full time on-site work a government or customer facility.

Pay Rate

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
