The Amerimed MIH Nurse Practitioner is responsible for in-home medical office-type visits. The Amerimed MIH NP is paired with a Medical Assistant to perform in-home visits in our company vehicle. Visits include review of patient history, physical exam, assessment, diagnosis, and plan including prescribing medications, ordering ancillary services, etc. All findings are documented in our EHR and shared with other members of the care team.  Currently looking for one Part-Time candidate.  Schedule is 8 hour shifts, Mondays - Fridays (3 days per week) 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Clinical history-taking and medical chart review

Excellent physical assessment skills

Solid comprehension of pharmacology and prescribing

Accurate diagnosing and plan development

Ordering any medications, DME, or ancillary services required by our clients

Communication with members of the care team

 

Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age
Master’s Degree or higher required

At least 1 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner and at least 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse

Active and unencumbered license to practice as an APRN in Illinois

Active certification by the ANCC or AANP 
Valid Driver's License clean driving record
Must pass a drug screen and background check

Job Type: Part-time (M/W/F) 8 hour shifts per day preferred or Tues/Thur with potential for full-time
