Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) needed in the Kings Mills area!

Office Setting: Priority Care

 

Job Overview:
This position is in a Clinic setting and assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. This position’s tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Current and active LPN license for the state of Ohio
  • Recent experience: Up to 1 year experience medical/physician office setting
  • Must be able to function with minimal supervision.
  • Graduate of an approved technical, professional ,or vocational program
  • Active LPN license for the state of Ohio
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Experience with EKG, Injections and Venipuncture
  • Performance of common lab tests according to establish CLIA guidelines

  • Exhibits dependability in areas such as attendance, punctuality and the timely performance of duties.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in assisting with medical procedures on adults and children.
  • Maintains the safety and cleanliness of the treatment area.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of clean and sterile procedures in the use of medical equipment.
